Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is recruiting for a Vice President for Finance and Administration (CFO). This opportunity comes at a pivotal time for the institution, under a new President, creating space for a forward-thinking leader to shape financial strategy, support continued growth, and advance the university’s mission to expand healthcare access in underserved communities.

 

PNWU welcomes both experienced CFOs and leaders ready to step into the role, seeking someone who brings an entrepreneurial mindset, a modern approach to finance, and a willingness to leverage tools such as AI and data-driven decision-making. With a strong and stable operational team of about ten in place, this role is uniquely positioned to focus on strategic initiatives - including modernizing financial systems, strengthening the university’s financial foundation, and growing its endowment.

 

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President will partner closely with the President and Board, playing a visible role in guiding long-term strategy and institutional decision-making. Vice President for Finance and Administration

 You will serve as a key executive leader at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU), partnering closely with the President, Board of Trustees, and senior leadership team to guide the institution’s financial strategy and long-term sustainability. This highly visible, cabinet-level role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, capital strategy, and risk management, while aligning resources to support mission-driven growth. As CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping institutional direction, strengthening financial systems, and advancing PNWU’s commitment to expanding healthcare access in rural and underserved communities.

Salary:  $220,000 - $250,000; salary is commensurate with experience.
